Willowbog Bonsai has become renowned for its range and choice of raw material and high quality yamadori, styled and semi-styled trees, Bonsai accessories, pots and sundries, plus possibly the best range of Bonsai study in the UK with some of Europe’s leading Bonsai artists.

Fundamental in Willowbog Bonsai's attempts to increase the interest in the art has been their 'Bonsai Chat' sessions. This is an open invitation to any Bonsai enthusiast, no matter what their level, to come along and use the studio facility on the first Saturday of every month. Whether you wish to stay all day and work on your trees or just pop-in for an hour - you will be most welcome.

Workshops & Bonsai Study at Willowbog
Teaching and Bonsai study has always been, and continues to be, an important part of Willowbog Bonsai; they bring to the nursery some of the leading Bonsai teachers in Europe including Marco Invernizzi and Marc Nöelanders. Check out the forthcoming workshops and the Marco Invernizzi Bonsai School.

Willowbog Bonsai Nursery
On our Bonsai benches we cater for everyone, from the novice just starting out through to the most dedicated enthusiast, with reasonably priced starter trees across the spectrum to high quality Japanese specimen Bonsai.

We have, in part, built our reputation on the supply of good, reasonably priced raw material from local sources, and have recently added to that, top quality European and Japanese yamadori. As the base for the British Shohin Association, we also have some of the best Shohin Bonsai ever to be sold in the UK. Open 6 days a week (closed Tuesdays) - 10am to 4pm.

Willowbog Bonsai Shop
In our shop, we aim to supply just about everything that a Bonsai enthusiast might require. In addition to our wide range of tools and accessories, we are the only UK nursery to supply the internationally renowned Joshua Roth brand of Japanese Bonsai tools.

Our two pot shops house an extensive range of containers, from Japan plus Korean Mica pots through to the excellent value Chinese ceramics and hand made pots from highly respected potters including Walsall Studio Ceramics, Ian Baillie and John Pitt.

Bonsai Chat Newsletter
Willowbog Bonsai members produce a monthly newsletter called Bonsai Chat covering a wide range of Bonsai topics and related information, which is available to read online.
